After extensive theater and voice training in New York, Frances Kelly dedicated her efforts to stage work. Because of her extensive range of voices, she began to focus on voice-overs, educational projects, radio, and audio books.She became a Certified Reader for the Library of Congress, and helped establish dramatized readings for Blind and Physically Handicapped Children.She received a grant from National Public Radio to perform her “Imagination Time” radio series, half-hour programs of dramatizing children’s stories.
